Not at all. Formal assessments for neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD and others) can be expensive and hard to access. I work with many clients who are self-diagnosed, late-diagnosed, or exploring their identity. A diagnosis is never a prerequisite for therapy.
Yes, I can be found at 239 Stafford Rd, Stafford. On this page, you can learn more about the practice.
Yes. Some clients benefit from 80-minute sessions, especially for EMDR, couples and relationship work, or when more time is needed to settle in and process.
Medicare rebates still apply for longer sessions, but they only cover the first 50 minutes—so the out-of-pocket cost is higher.

Yes. I see young people aged 12+ and often work collaboratively with families, carers, or support coordinators. Support people (including case managers or partners) are welcome to join initial sessions and when appropriate.
Payment is processed on the day of the session via Zanda. You’ll receive an invoice or receipt automatically, and any Medicare rebate is submitted for you. If you are using a Private Health Fund, I will provide you with an invoice which you can submit directly to your provider. More info here.
If no appointments are currently available, you can join the waitlist through the client portal.
When a suitable appointment becomes available due to a cancellation or schedule change, we will send SMS notification to clients on the waitlist whose availability matches the new time. Appointments are offered to multiple people at once and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
You can also log in to the portal at any time to check for newly available appointments or update your availability preferences.
That depends on your needs. Many clients begin with weekly sessions, then shift to fortnightly or monthly as things stabilise. We’ll figure out a rhythm that works for you.
My schedule approximately looks like this.
- Mondays – Telehealth only
- Tuesday and Wednesday – Stafford Clinic
- Thursday – Stafford Clinic
Depending on availability, after-hours appointments may be available on some of those days. You can view available times when booking through Zanda.
I combine structure with flexibility. I bring evidence-based tools like EMDR, Schema, DBT, and ACT—but I also stay present and responsive to what’s happening in the moment. Sessions are collaborative, creative, and paced to suit you. Some clients want depth and theory; others want warmth, silence, or memes. All of that is welcome.
A clear cancellation policy is in place to ensure fairness and availability. Please read the cancellation policy here.
No. We can go at your pace. For trauma-focused work like EMDR, we can use closed protocol formats where I don’t need to know all the details of what occurred.
