As a psychologist, I’ve chosen the modalities I use by paying close attention to what genuinely supports my clients—especially those navigating neurodivergent trauma, family dynamics and workplace concerns.

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing is an evidence-based therapy that helps process and resolve traumatic or distressing memories. EMDR supports nervous system regulation and is especially effective for PTSD, complex trauma, and anxiety linked to past experiences.

DBT

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy is a practical, skills-based approach that helps with emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. DBT is helpful for people who feel things intensely, or struggle with impulsivity or relationship conflict.

Schema Therapy

Schema Therapy works with long-standing emotional patterns (schemas) formed early in life. It helps make sense of repeated triggers and actions that seem to go against our own interests, often by exploring the emotional “parts” of ourselves that carry unmet needs.

ACT

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy supports you to relate more flexibly to difficult thoughts and feelings, while reconnecting with your personal values. It’s particularly helpful for anxiety, life transitions, and aligning life with purpose.

Parts Work & Structural Dissociation

Parts work involves recognising and gently working with distinct internal “selves” or states—often used in trauma therapy, especially when dissociation is present. This approach is grounded in respect, integration, and deep listening to what each part needs.

Couples Counselling

My approach to relationship and couples therapy rests on the assumption that we all want to feel connected, loved and secure. Some of us just missed out on the instructions on how to meet those needs. This may be particularly tricky if one or more of the partners are neurodiverse.

Standard or Long Sessions

Standard or Long Sessions

I offer Standard (50 min) or Longer Sessions (80 min). Longer sessions are recommended for EMDR, neurodivergent clients and relationship counselling.
